In support of the continued success of the Ontario eConsult Service, the Ontario eConsult Centre of Excellence is working with the Ontario Telemedicine Network to provide an upgrade to the eConsult platform on the OTN Hub.

This eConsult upgrade is set to launch in the Fall of 2019 and will focus on:

• Improving access to regional communities of practice by enabling providers to identify their priority regions
• The automation of case assignment to specialists within specialty groups.
• Improving efficiency and functionality of eConsult settings
• Enhancing assigner functionality to better respect specialist restrictions

OTN and the Ontario eConsult Centre of Excellence will be hosting a webinar shortly after launch to provide a demonstration and answer any questions related to the new features and functionality. Details of the webinar to be posted on www.eConsultOntario.com in the coming weeks.
