The Ontario eConsult Centre of Excellence
The Ontario eConsult Centre of Excellence (eConsult COE), established in January 2018 and housed at The Ottawa Hospital, provides clinical leadership and program oversight for the Ontario eConsult Program and aims to enable eConsult access across Ontario. The eConsult COE was founded by Dr. Clare Liddy (Bruyère Research Institute) and Dr. Erin Keely (The Ottawa Hospital), co-founders of eConsult BASE™ (Building Access to Specialists through eConsultation), and is currently under the leadership of Executive Director Dr. Erin Keely.

Leads the dedicated evidence-based evaluation program for the Ontario eConsult Program to support strategic service enhancements and quality improvements.
Erin Keely, MD
Provides clinical leadership and oversight for the Ontario eConsult Centre of Excellence. Works in partnership with the eHealth Centre of Excellence as the Specialist lead for the Ontario eServices Program.
Marilyn Crabtree, MD

Provides clinical leadership and oversight, leading technology integrations aimed at improving clinician workflow and evaluating the eConsult program’s patient outcomes.

Collaborates closely with the Program Manager to oversee the operational leadership of the eConsult Program and represent the Ottawa Hospital’s involvement.

Jackie Farrow
Responsible for overall Ontario eConsult Program implementation and operations of the eConsult Center of Excellence. Liaises with program and delivery partners to provide strategic guidance and operational support in support of the spread and scale of eConsult across Ontario.
Andrea Huck
Responsible for Primary Care engagement, registration & support of the eConsult program across the province of Ontario. Fosters relationships with Regional Leads and individual regions to develop strategies, policies and procedures to implement and increase end-user adoption of eConsult into Primary Care practices.
Danica Goulet
Data and Technical Integration Lead
Responsible for data and reporting efforts for the Ontario eConsult Program, while also providing support for program evaluation. Responsible for coordinating program operations including platform upgrades, policies & procedures, and project management oversight.
Brynn O'Dwyer
Advisor and Project Analyst
Responsible for Specialist onboarding, engagement, remuneration, and oversight of eConsult BASE™ managed groups. Provides support for eConsult integrations, including managing the expansion of the Triaging Referrals to eConsult (TReC) initiative in Ontario.
Joe Fatica
Responsible for monthly reporting/data analysis, external remuneration, and managing website (development/updates) of the Ontario eConsult Program.
Casandra Woodward
Administrative Coordinator
Responsible for managing the day to day operations of the eConsult Program, including addressing physician questions, case assigning, developing meeting materials for our various committees, and coordinating meetings.
Karima El Bilali
Project Analyst
Responsible to project manage the expansion of the Triaging Referrals to eConsult (TReC) initiative in Ontario.
Amir Afkham
Architecture Advisor
Advising on strategy with particular focus on technical/operational evolution, including integrations of eConsult with EMRs, HIS, eReferral systems, and associated workflows/impacts.
